Today the Uppingham students are visiting the National Space Centre near Leicester. With many displays and exhibits showing the science behind space travel and with Science Teacher Rachael Scullion on board the budding Uppingham astronauts and cosmonauts are in for a fantastic day out!
With the Academic English students taking part in a week long science project on space this is not only a great excursion but a fantastic example of how Discovery Summer links its activities programme to the academic curriculum!
