Breaking News: Queen comes to DS Uppingham Garden Party

The Queen Visited the Lawns of Samworth's House on Friday

In a massive breakthrough in Royal protocol, Queen Elizabeth the III arrived unannounced at Samworth's House on Friday evening, to meet and greet the international students attending the Discovery Summer English Language Summer School. She brought with her an entourage of fearless activity leaders who seized the break in the rain to organise croquet on the lawns, a cake decorating competition, pin the crown on the queen and face painting to comemorate the Royal Diamond Jubilee in this Olympic year.

Pinning the crown on the Queenie was a huge succes... like a coronation every thirty seconds!

Croquet has been banned from the lawns of Buckingham Palace since Prince Philip mistook one of the corgis for a ball... it is still allowed in Uppingham
