DS Uppingham marks the Opening of the 2012 London Olympics!!!

This evening marked the official opening of the 2012 London Olympics. We marked it with our own mini Olympics of fun events in the garden, before settling down to watch what turned out to be one of the most memorable and unique opening ceremonies every. It was amazing for the staff to see the students sitting next to other students from other countries all cheering for one anothers teams. Whenever a country paraded in and we had even a single student here in Uppingham there was a great big cheer for that country and that or those students. A night we will never forget!
