EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!!! THE UPPINGHAM NEWSLETTER IS HERE!

In a busy summer school with many students from all over the world, there is always news! Since you can't possibly expect everyone to be kept up-to-date all the time simply by hanging around the grapevine, we've decided to publish an Uppingham newletter that was very cleverly named Downpingham Olds...

First things first, when you are part of an offical newsletter crew, it is very important that you are recognisable so the first order of business was: making newspaper hats!

Now that it was clear who this week's reporters would be, the students started brainstorming about what had to be in the newsletter. It had been a busy week so there was lots to choose from. The best way to organise your thoughts? A mind map of course.

Once everyone had an idea about what they wanted to write, they split up into groups and started gathering information. For a few little things they could use the internet but most of the work that needed to be done meant interviewing students and staff.

Once they knew all they needed to know, our brilliant team of reporters locked themselves into the IT room and started putting their information into articles.

 

Once all the articles were written the team could start putting everything together and through a lot of hard work this team ended up with a newletter they can be very proud of!
