UPPINGHAM TRASHION SHOW 2012
This Sunday we changed the way students think about waste. We did this in an enjoyable, innovative and playful, yet provocative and memorable way. Our trashion show was not only to promote environmental awareness and sustainability in our Uppingham school community, but we also had a lot of fun.
Each group designed and created haute couture with cast-offs and SCRAP materials. And what’s more, students could not make a costume of their choice but they were given a theme.
Uppingham 2012 saw
a pirate
a wild cat
a sailor
a robot
a bride
a lollypop lady
a schoolgirl
and a clown
