When Belgium and the Netherlands meet in any sports, sparks can fly, but when the Olympics are the main event and at stake is a place in the next round, then the tension is electric. Throw in an appetiser of the favourites for Gold, Australia against Spain and you have a cracking morning of Olympic Hockey at the Riverside Stadium within the Olympic Park.
That is what the lucky wwinners of the draw for tickets on Wednesday had to look forward to! and having risen at 0430 hrs on Wednesday they had a trip of a lifetime into East London walking past the remarkable Olympic Stadium, the Aquatic Centre, the Copper Box, the Basketball arena, and seeing many of the sites from the coverage on TV it was a truly memorable Discovery Summer experience.
