Trip to Warwick Castle and Stratford Upon avon

Our first full day excursion was an educational visit to the historical Warwick Castle and Stratford Upon Avon. 

It gave our students an insight into various stages of British History including the Civil War between the Roundheads and the Cavaliers, the Tudor Period with King Henry VIII and his six wives and a whole host of weapons and armoury throughout the ages.

After leaving Warwick Castle we visited the home of the English playwright, William Shakespeare, Stratford Upon Avon where we saw his historical home and got chance to do some shopping!
