One of the major strengths commented upon by the British Council inspection last year is the professionalism and passion shown by our teachers. Here Kit can be seen giving up part of his break time to help a student working on vocabulary lists.
In the Fashion Workshop, making is the name of the game. Transforming scraps of fabric into timeless pieces of fashionable clothing.
The focus on this workshop is to develop the vocabulary and oratory skills involved in the fashion world. The imagination of every young person wanders into the world of clothing and fashion every now and again and this workshop gives them the opportunity to explore their inner creative sparks.
The attention to detail in their designs is often so high that it is hard to tell their work and designer items apart.
But the most rewarding thing about observing this Workshop according to the students themselves is that it is, "Great fun working with my new friends. They are from Germany, Spain and Italy and I love the way they dress so to make some new clothes with them is amazing."
We look forward to seeing their colourful catwalk creations on Thursday as part of our Presentations at the end of week 1.
