Goodbye from Discovery Summer 2017

Fifty:50

Based on a popular children's gameshow, Fifty:50 pitches our two teams, The Lions and The Dragons in direct competition with each other. They compete in mini games, for points that can help them to win the night's competition and that can be added to the overall weekly competition totals.

Each student participates in at least one game throughout the evening and they are randomly selected for each game. The first game was a seated tug of war which was incredible tense.
This was followed by a pairs event. a pair of students from each team had to burst as many balloons as possible using only their bottoms. Much bottom bouncing later the Lions had slipped into the lead.

The mummifying round was so close that it was decided by the toss of a coin and the Dragons re-entered the race for the points.

The water balloon distance catching competition was incredibly tight
And you can imagine exactly how this ended!

The three legged relay race was hard fought and the umpires had to declare one team had cheated.
The Facial Square Mint Rolling competition lead to some incredibly funny moments.
All in all, it was a fantastic evening of fun, cheering and laughter and we are looking forward to tonight's Quiz Night.
