Trashion Show

This evening saw the first of many competitions between the Lions and the Dragons. Over the course of the summer, they will go head to head in a variety of quizzes, music and dance competitions, gameshow style events and plenty of arts, crafts and gunge battles.

This evening it was Trashion Show, when each team was given an identical set of 'scrap' materials which they had to turn into a fashion item related to the theme of 'England'

In their small groups, consisting of students from a variety of countries and backgrounds, each with a student host helping out, they groups put their collective creative thinking heads on and came up with some remarkable designs.

Once the Trashion items were completed, it was time for the cat-walk show and each group presented a brief description of what they had designed and what it had been made out of. A great exercise in teamwork, as well as working on vocabulary linked to design and making things and whole heap of fun for everyone.
