The English Lessons Have Begun

After an exciting weekend full of games, excursions and workshops, the students had their first proper English lesson this morning. The students and their teachers enthusiastically did different exercises to get to know each other. And what better way to get to know each other is there than mind mapping your lives!

After that the students rushed around the building to the Who's Who board to get to know all their directors, teachers and activity leaders. Now we can all start learning names...

Then we moved onto the designing and signing of contracts where the students discuss what they expect during the lessons and what Do's and Don'ts everyone should follow to make sure that the lessons will be fun and educational for everyone!

And last but certainly not least, the students started writing in their diaries. Every student will keep a diary of everything they experience here in Uppingham to remind them of all the wonderful moments when they get back home, but also to share with parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, friends, and anyone else who wants to know how amazing their time in Uppingham was!
