Week 1 Presentations and Even More Birthdays

It's been a great first week at Uppingham and there were some excellent presentations to prove it

The Mask Workshop showed us their designs and why they chose them 

"Uppingham TV" presented their first news show, delivering highlights from around the town

Discovery Plus studied space exploration this week and this the maths class presented their finished Angry Bird design, having found the best angle for trajectory

Then they needed a rocket, which they made with an empty coke bottle and bicycle pump... watch the video to see it fly!

And a very happy birthday to Hannah and Edoardo who had their birthdays this week
