Uppingham:;Up, Up and Away!!!

Discovery Summer, Uppingham received their first arrivals on Friday. The new students all arrived in good spirits despite long delays on the motorway, coming up from Heathrow. Heavy showers earlier in the day had blown over by the time the coaches started to arrive and the sun shone through on the new arrivals.

Welcome Games were organised on the lawns of Samworth House, as the registration process was carried out in the Arrivals Office. A team of excellent student hosts formed the welcoming committee, with card games, table football and door sign making activities, laid on in the Samworth's lounge.
