Hello students,
Thank you all for working hard during your first week on the Discovery Summer Academic Programme. The theme for week one was 'Space and the Solar System'. We were impressed with your good behaviour during the trip to the National Space Centre in Leicester. Well done to all of those who showed an interest in their studies.
A big thank you to the student hosts and activity leaders who have helped us with our classes too.
Week 2 has now begun. Our new theme is 'power' - you might be learning about castles, calculating your power or finding out the acceleration of powerful machines! Work hard, try your best and help others in class; and keep those mobile phones turned off!!
You have an exciting visit to Rockingham Castle to look forward to.
