Thank you to all the Pre-Boarding Academic programme students for listening and engaging with our first British Culture Event: British Comedy.


You learnt about various forms of comedy and how satire, character and location are crucial to British comedy.

You also learnt how the comedy can, at times, appear NOT to be funny - and how it takes a deeper understanding of the British culture in order to appreciate its humour.

We hope you enjoyed watching the clips - and we know that Mr Bean was your favourite.
