This weekend saw the Uppingham Oscars come to town.
The challenge for each of the colour groups was to script, record, edit and produce a film as part of our evening activity on the Saturday and on the Sunday we held a full red carpet premier of all the films along with an Oscar presentation ceremony for the outstanding contributions throughout the weekend.
The films ranged from sktech shows to music videos and horror films. The teamwork and skills shown by all our teams was outstanding and when we consider that some people spend hours making videos like these, praise should surely be given to all our student teams and Activity Leaders who managed to put these together in just 24 hours!
Surely these videos and the experience of making them, and seeing them in our own surround cinema (complete with pop-corn) will be one of the highlights for all the staff and students at this year's Discovery Summer Uppingham.

The Blue Dragons earned the Best Original Screenplay for their original dance video tribute to the Prodigy.
