National Space Centre in Leicester

On Sunday our students went to Leicester Space Centre. What happened there? Did they take a tour of the 42m high rocket tower? Or maybe they came face to face with astronauts and tried spacesuits on.

Did they walk through a mock up of the Columbus Module from the International Space Station and discover how you use a bathroom in space? Did they learn more about the planets in our Solar System and stop off at Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune? Or maybe they drove a Martian rover on the red planet. Did they enter Tranquillity Base and become trainee astronauts on a lunar base?

The answer to all these questions is YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
